Retaining wall facades were commonly used on the Thomas and Friends television series to fill the background and help sell the illusion of more expansive settings. For this ongoing project, I decided to CAD design, 3D print, and paint retaining wall pieces in the style of the ones used in the fifth season. Once aligned, the pieces allow me to create an adjustable stretch of retaining walls that is incredibly useful on sets!
