TheFamousEight is an ongoing project aimed at reviving the magic of ‘Thomas and Friends’ through immersive visuals and storytelling. Utilizing the art of model-making, it has been my mission to build my own take on this vast and beloved universe - one model at a time!

I hope this site showcases the work, dedication, and passion that goes into creating miniature worlds, and acts as a resource for those wanting to build a Sodor of their own!

**Howdy! My name is Alexander Townsend, otherwise known as TheFamousEight!**

I’m a lifelong fan of Thomas the Tank Engine, and have always enjoyed finding ways to share this passion with others!

The world of the original show is an enchanting escape; a refuge that has undoubtedly shaped who I am today. Since discovering a fervent love for building models, I have been determined to recreate this universe that has captured my heart.

For the past eight years I have utilized an arsenal of skills to complete this task: from writing to CAD design, to 3D printing, set-building, filming, and even editing!

There is always work to keep me busy, so busy! I hope you join me along for the ride!!
